I personally love paint balling and lazer tag. You can really get into the game this way. I always go all out and imagine myself in a Battlefield type scenario... it just makes it that much more exciting.
I saw this today on Google+:
Battlefield 5 on Google Glasses... That would be god-like. Though, arguably unsafe. Running around an abandoned area where you could fall and hurt yourself? That creates a large variety of legal issues. No one would ever go for it. However, you could easily do something like this in a safe closed environment. For example, take a paintball place and have players where these glasses: They'd be playing paintball in real life, but they'd get a battlefield type experience.
Maybe I should talk to Google about doing that.
I would pay a pretty penny to play.
Well entirely sure about Battlefield 5 on Google Glasses, but I do see myself playing www.AncientBeast.com using them and moving the creatures by picking them up with my hands and placing them around. It's my free open source game project (2d and 3d versions will be browser based).
ReplyDeleteVirtual reality has definitely failed in the past, but I think our society is ready for that technology now. I'd absolutely be interested in playing any game with the glasses
